Scene 14

Scene 14 was completed by firstly drawing the face of Scarlett - A main character. After this was completed, the slide was duplicated to the next slide. Next, a slight blue dot in Scarlett's eye. This continued to develop throughout the scenes, until tears began to flow out of her eyes, making it seem as though the character was crying. When the crying section was complete, the first and last scenes were made key slides of the scene. The move tool was then put on, and the last slide was dragged close. This made Scarlett's face gradually zoom in, throughout the scene. Finally the last scene was duplicated around three times to give a dramatic tension in the audience.

Scene 16

Scene 16, which is the last scene was completed by firstly creating the two characters, which you can only see the back of. The background was then created. Once the first slide was complete, it was copied to another slide. In the next slide, the characters were slightly moved to one side. This slide was then copied and then again moved slightly to the other side. These three slides were then copied and pasted various of times. This made the characters look like they were walking in one spot, as they seemed to be going up and down on either sides. The first slide was then made a key slide, as well as the last slide. The move tool was used to make the characters in the last scene seem small and further up the screen. This made the characters seem as though they were slowly walking up a footpath.

Two Scenes to Go!

All scenes are done, except for scene 10 and 11! These scenes are the most difficult to animate, as it is when both Scarlett and Nathan magically turn into a fancy dress and tuxedo. I will post up the remaining scenes that I have completed and I'll explain how each were completed.

Scene 5 is finished!

Scene 5 is when Scarlett looks down the hallway, on her way to home. This was when Scarlett just encountered her true love, Nathan. I did this scene by drawing the ack of Scarlett, and copying and pasting various times. This was in the foreground. Next, in the background, I drew the base hall way and copied and pasted this. Lastly, I added two key points. One at the beginning and one at the end. I used the move truck to made the last slide (background) larger. This made the slide slowly make the background become larger. This made the illusion that Scarlett was walking down the hallway, making her way to the exit door.

Scene 11- DONE!

I have completed scene 11, which is when Scarlett and Nathan are looking into each others eyes, while the sun comes past (fast forwarded). Then the moon comes, and goes quickly, and they continue to stare at each other, blinking a few times.

Enjoy!

Three Scenes Done!

Three scenes finished and four to go! Im making slow but steady progress with my assignment, and im gaining skills along the way which are making me complete scenes quicker! I just finished the scene when a tear rolls down Scarlett's face, and I have decided to add a quick slide after this scene, which will say "That Night". This will indicate that the day is finished and will make the story easier to follow and understand.

Progress on animation-ish assignment!

I have now completed the scene of when Scarlett and Nathan are holding each other, and are walking down into the distance. During this time, the credits will role. I have also just finished my second scene which was of Scarlett walking past the lockers, about to go home from school. I modified the scene, so now each slide the background is a different colour. This shows the flow of emotions that Scarlett feels for Nathan.
