My Walking Man

Next up this term, we have created our first walking man. We started off by copying and pasting a picture from blackboard, with the pictures and steps in creating a walking man. We discovered that when creating an animation, the movements are exaggerated to make it look like normal movements, in cartoon. Once we had copied and pasted the picture of the movements, we traced the pictures, and then we continued to do so on other slides with the next step of movement. After that we selected a background to go behind it. I selected a picture of a mountain with blue skies surrounding. I added a main point at the start, and at the end, then various main points in the middle, to look like the man was walking up and down on the mountain. I then put clothes, shoes and a hat on the walking man, and did the same for each slide of the man walking at different stages. The rest of the slide automatically copied the clothes, shoes and hat, as I had copied and pasted many slides of the man waling in action.

The Bouncing Ball

Today was our first creative media for Term 2. We discovered that our assignment and main topic with term is animations! I enjoy making animations as its interesting, creative and fun. Although animations are fun to create and make up, they are tiring and time-consuming, as there are many slides to create only 1 second (10 slides, make 1 second worth of animation). Our first attempt at creating an animation this term, was by creating "A Bouncing Ball". This wa by following a diagram on the board, which indicated to us how many and where to place our (balls) slides. Here is my attempt of creating a bouncing a ball...
